"Uncomfortable Seats"
I tried to get comfortable, but honestly, the seats were just really uncomfortable. I mean, they were so uncomfortable that it was hard to relax at all...

"I barely found a parking spot…"
I barely found a parking spot nearby, which was annoying. I ended up circling the block a couple of times before finally squeezing into a spot a little farther away than I’d hoped...

"Great cocktails, just a little light"
The cocktails were really tasty and I’d go back for the flavors alone. I just wish the pours had been a little stronger. Weirdly, I still remember the tiny neon flamingo stirrer in my drink, which made me laugh more than it probably should have.

"Fun Night with Some Really Impressive Magic"
I mainly went for the show, the performers were really good. A few of the tricks completely fooled me, and the close-up magic was easily the best part. I do think a couple of bits dragged on a little longer than they needed to, so I’d take off a star for that. Still, for the overall experience, it felt worth it and made for a fun night out

"Really Friendly Vibe"
Everyone working there was super friendly and easy to talk to. I thought it was going to be a normal night, but actually, it ended up feeling relaxed right from the start. I’d definitely go back.

"Not the cozy hidden gem I was hoping for"
I was really hoping for that cozy little hidden bar vibe, but the place was loud and cramped. The decor was fine, I guess, but nothing about it felt all that special. Maybe I caught it on a bad night, but between the noise and all the space-hogging goofballs packed in there, it just wasn’t my scene.

"I wasn’t totally sure what to expect…"
I wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but I ended up really liking the place. The room was cozy, a little dark in a fun way, and had this old Chicago feel that made the whole experience feel more unique than I expected.

"Fun, But I Regretted the Price"
My first reaction was, “Okay, this is good,” but then I immediately thought about what I paid for the ticket and winced a little. The show was enjoyable, sure, but not enough to make me feel like it was worth the cost

"Fun and Personal Night Out"
I had a really good time here. The magicians kept bringing people up from the crowd, which made the whole show feel sorta personal and more interactive. A few parts were a little slow, but overall it was fun and definitely felt different from a regular night out

"One thing I noticed right away…"
One thing I noticed right away was how clean the bathrooms were. For me, that says a lot about how well a place is taken care of, and it definitely made the whole experience feel more comfortable.

"Fun night with great close-up magic"
Had a really fun time at the show. The close-up magic was the best part, it’s wild seeing tricks happen right in front of your face and still having no clue how they did it. The drinks did take a little while to come out, but it didn’t really ruin the night or anything. Weirdly, I still remember the magician had this tiny rubber chicken on the table for one trick, and I have no idea why that stuck with me. Overall, we had a good night and I’d go again.

"Easy check-in and a great start"
Check-in at Chicago Magic Lounge was super easy. We showed up a little early, and the person at the door was really friendly and seemed totally on top of everything. They pulled up our reservation right away, told us where to go, and even though there were people behind us, it never felt rushed. it was way smoother than some other places I’ve been to, where you’re just kind of standing there like... Anyway, it was a really nice way to start the night. No confusion, no hassle, just easy. I’d definitely go again.

"Pretty easy spot to get to"
Went to Chicago Magic Lounge last weekend and, the location was convenient for us. We just grabbed an Uber or rideshare or whatever, and it was super easy to find. No weird entrance confusion or anything like that. I’m only knocking off a star because parking in the area looked kind of annoying, maybe a little hit or miss. But if you’re taking transit or getting dropped off, it’s a simple place to get to.

"Pretty Great View tbh"
I was sitting off to the side, so I wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but the view was actually Really clear. the sightlines were way better than I thought they’d be, and I didn’t feel like I missed anything

Just a heads up for anyone planning to go: there really isn’t much to eat there. If you’re going to be staying a while, I’d recommend grabbing food beforehand or bringing a few snacks with you.

"Good Spot for a Relaxed Night Out"
Had a really nice night here. The staff checked in on us regularly, but not so much that it felt annoying, which made it easy to just relax and enjoy ourselves. Drinks took a little longer than expected, but overall it was a good experience and a solid place to go if you want attentive service without feeling rushed.
